Outdoor fabrics add softness and personality to a space
We are pleased to be able to offer scatter cushions and bench cushions made from outdoor fabric with outdoor inners.
We can also re-cover the cushions in Hampton range.
Our cushions are all made to order, and you should allow 2-3 weeks for them to be made. We offer two fabric ranges:

Outdoor Fabric Facts
These fabrics are designed for outdoors. They are water resistant, stain resistant and fade resistant. They also have anti-microbial properties so they resist mould and mildew.
Dust and dirt sit on top of the fabric rather than settling in so a good vacuum or shake is all that's needed to keep them looking great. A wipeover with a damp cloth will also revitalise the fabric.
Regular Care
- Vacuum regularly using low suction
- Rotate reversible cushions regularly
Wet cushions
Outdoor Fabric has all the necessary requirements to withstand the outdoor weather, but a drenched cushion on the chair risks marks and mould on the underside where it does not dry properly. For a long life, we recommend the following:
- If the cushions get lightly rained upon then stand them up to allow them to dry.
- If there is torrential rain then stow the cushions undercover. If you don't make it in time, then unzipper the cushions and hang out to dry.
Cleaning Instructions
- Removable covers can be machine washed on a cool setting at a temperature not exceeding 40°C with a mild soap.
- Do not spin dry. Do not tumble dry. Drip dry. Do not iron. Do not dry clean. Professional cleaning recommended.
- The use of detergent rather than a mild soap will diminish the water repellant finish quicker than using a mild soap solution.
Spot cleaning
- Treat stains and spills as soon as possible. Gently scrape any soil or mop any liquid from the surface of the fabric.
- A mild soap and warm water solution (one part soap to ten parts lukewarm water) is all that is required for most spills.
- Apply the cleaning solution to the fabric and blot with a clean dry cloth, reapplying as necessary until the stain is gone.
- Scrub with a sponge or soft bristle brush designed for upholstery cleaning. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Test proprietary agents on a hidden area before use and apply strictly according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Fabric Protector (e.g. Scotchguard)
- The cushions are not treated with a fabric protector. To increase the durability of the furniture, you may wish to apply one yourself after a spot test.

Outdoor Foam Facts
Bench & scatter cushions are made from an outdoor grade of foam with the key feature of being able to reticulate or drain away the water that it comes in contact with. The cushions will dry out more easily and effectively.
