  • An ideal specimen plant the Magnolia Little Gem has large glossy green leaves with copper underside and the beautiful large white scented flowers of the common Magnolia grandiflora.
  • Perfect as a feature plant or in a series along a bare wall. In a balcony situation use at least 300mm plants as they are well established and will have been shaped by the grower. As they are a large plant they need to be planted in a substanital pot. We would recommend something similar in size to the large Balconylite Egg Pot or the extra large Atlantis U Pot.

    In ideal conditions a Magnolia Little Gem planted in a good sized pot will reach around 2-2.5m in height and 1-1.5m in width.

    Water approx every 3 days in Summer and every 7 days in Winter

    Ensure you give your Magnolia a good soaking when you do water it, making sure all the soil in the pot is nice and moist. This encourages the roots of the plant to spread out which results in a healthier, happier plant.

    Magnolia's will grow comfortably in part shade however more sun results in more flowers.
