- The Liriope has deep green strapy leaves with purple flowers in late summer. An ideal 'filler' plant the Liriope works well in a medium to small pot as part of a grouping.
- We've used this versatile plant in our Classic Instant Garden in a grouping with a Gardenia and Magnolia. The strapy foliage contrasts nicely against the round leaves of both the Gardenia and Magnolia. You could also consider using Liriope in troughs as a low hedge.
Liriope is a clumping plant that will grow to approximately 50-60cm high. As with many of the other plants in this category a good regular watering and occassional dose of fertiliser will keep these happy and healthy. -
