Delivery & Payment
We are always available to give advice and help where needed. Please contact us to discuss any questions you have regarding delivery, there is often a very simple solution or options available.
Delivery
We are based in Sydney and deliver in Sydney and Australia wide.
At the time of placing your order, our website or sales staff will give you an indication of probable delivery date and lead time.
We make use of a variety of carriers and freight companies so we can get your delivery out to you in the most efficient manner.
Small items will be sent as soon as they are ready with either Australia Post or a courier.
For large items, we will contact you before your delivery to arrange a day and approximate delivery time. We always try to give you a reasonable timeframe (e.g. 2 hours). But please be aware that traffic and other delays can happen. If this occurs, then the delivery person will call you to let you know.
Difficult access and unattended deliveries
Please let us know if you have difficult delivery access, e.g. stairs, steep driveways, narrow doorways, or where you think there will need to be two people to deliver due to access.
If you are unable to be home during the day we can leave items unattended in a specific location. When we call to arrange your delivery just let us know where you would like the items left.
Delivery charge
For some combinations of products and delivery postcodes it's difficult to estimate a delivery charge online - but most times we are able to arrange something for you.

Dispatch guide
Each product has a dispatch guide that appears on it's page. Everything that we sell is held in stock and dispatches from Sydney. When something is out of stock we will update the availability.
Sometimes certain sizes or colours can be cleared out by commercial or multiple orders. If this happens and we cannot meet the guideline, we will contact you within 24 hours with an updated delivery date and the option of a refund if it does not suit you.

The dispatch guide represents our turnaround to get the goods with the delivery company. On top of this is the time that the carrier or freight company will take to deliver the goods. Depending on where you are this will range from 2 - 7 working days. It is often next working day between major centres.
If you have special requirements around the date of delivery, or want an order sent express, please contact us before placing your order so we can make sure that these can be met within your expectations.
Your order will, wherever possible, be sent to you in one delivery. If this will not be possible, we will contact you to discuss if you would prefer to receive the items that are available immediately, or wait until the whole order can be delivered together.
Payment methods
Your order will only be processed once payment is authorised. Please note that the payment transaction will take place prior to delivery.
- Online. You can pay online using Visa, Mastercard or PayPal
- Telephone. If you would prefer not to purchase online, you may telephone your order and credit card details to 02 8091 4700
- Direct Deposit. We also accept payment via bank transfer
Inspection of goods
Please inspect the goods on delivery and notify us within 24 hours if they are damaged or are not what you think you ordered. This gives us the best opportunity to get it resolved for you as quickly as possible.

Title of goods
Goods remain the property of Urban Balcony until paid in full.
We are currently trialling free delivery on orders over $200 to the Sydney Metro area.
You can check your delivery price by entering your postcode and clicking the "Enter postcode to check delivery price" button on the poduct page. We have based our definition of Sydney Metro on the following postcodes:
